Both PCSC Proximity and HID Proximity cards and tags are available in credit card format, and also a standard prox card that can be photo overlaid or mag stripe encoded. Also available is a proximity wafer with its own adhesive, that can be affixed to an existing prox card, mag stripe card or even a drivers license or work ID card, instantly transforming these items into proximity-readable cards. PCSC also offers a tear-drop shaped proximity tag that fits easily on standard keyrings. Vehicle proximity tags are available in both compact-sized interior windshield mount tags, and rectangular metal strips designed for exterior mounting on vehicles or other objects, such as stretchers and work carts. Both PCSC’s interior and exterior vehicle tags are designed to work with a specific long-range PCSC proximity reader, capable of offering a nine to eleven foot read range for user convenience.
